Mojang announced that Minecraft Dungeons has surpassed 10 million players. The large player base is also thanks to the wide launch in May 2020 across all the platforms including PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, which has not limited its launch solely on Xbox as with Minecraft early on. The development team at Mojang has stated that to celebrate reaching this milestone, they will be releasing a new cape and a pet for all the players as a thank you. The items will be available in your inventory on February 24th as part of the free game update releasing on the same day. The Dungeons community has hit ten million players and spent a whacking 6660 YEARS fighting minions of the Arch-Illager! Since we can't bake a cake big enough, we're celebrating your support by adding a free pet and cape on Feb 24 The Flames of the Nether DLC adds six new missions, new artifacts, armor, weapons and two new skins all set in a parallel dimension. The new game update will introduce Ancient Hunts which will add procedurally generated missions in which players chase down groups of Ancients while gathering gold and weapons.
