As you most likely know that all across the world there is a massive shortage of PS5 stock, and when there is stock generally they are sold out the same day. Well for some they did not want to lose out on the opportunity of getting one as a crowd went crazy and swarmed the counters at a retailer in Japan that had announced the availability of new PS5 units, all this led to the police having to intervene. The footage of the chaos below is from Twitter user, @tabata_97, and the store in question is Yodobashi Akiba in Akihabara, this is one of the most popular locations for locals to purchase the latest consoles and games. Fortunately, no one seems to have been hurt amid the chaos, however the longer the PS5 has limited stock, don't be surprised when more of this happens at other retailers. (@tabata__97) January 30, 2021
