It makes sense as Deus Ex Human Revolution launched in 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with both the Xbox and PlayStation getting faster, slimmer versions during that period. In 2016 Mankind Divided released a direct follow-up to Human Revolution on the current PS4 and Xbox One, and with the next generation of consoles set to launch this year, it looks like Square Enix might just be about to conclude the Deus Ex saga.
The leaker also states that a teaser trailer is in the works for later this year and could possibly see the game launch in August 2021, making it still possible to be a cross-gen title. As details are still scarce we do know that the Adam Jensen and Janus arc will probably conclude in the new game. With all these delays, good news like this brings us hope as did Deus Ex, we believe that you can’t kill progress.
