WWE 2K19 MyCareer Mode: What You Need To Know

WWE 2K19 Looks quite promising

2K Games has released the new official trailer for WWE 2K19 MyCareer mode, and by the looks of it, they have made major improvements from the slow-paced and lifeless career mode in WWE 2k18, which you can check our full review here – WWE 2K18 Review

Triple H, Braun Strowman, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are all featured in the new story mode as main characters, and there’s no mind-numbing WWE Performance Center tutorial in sight. Instead, your CAW will journey from the independent scene to NXT, SmackDown and then, eventually Raw. Check  out the trailer below – https://youtu.be/bsFegBKF6as

Features Compelling Storyline & Fully Voiced Characters

As you can see in the trailer above WWE 2K19’s MyCAREER mode is back and better than ever, 2K have mentioned that the main focus this year is making sure there is the fan favorite dramatic storyline with all the surprises that creates the much-needed change from the previous titles. 2K have listened to critics on the aweful dialogue of the last title that they have now added fully-voiced characters. MyCAREER contains voiceover from over 24 WWE Superstars including Triple H, Braun Strowman, and Bray Wyatt.

Players start in the indie scene

For the first time ever in MyCAREER, players will start in the indie scene which will see you challenge up and coming stars in order to get noticed by NXT Head Coach Matt Bloom. New non-WWE arenas are included which you can see early on in the WWE 2K19 MyCAREER trailer above.

WWE 2K19 roster is massive

We now know WWE 2K19’s roster which includes Ronda Rousey, Rey Mysterio and Ted DiBiase, as well as two-thirds of the major players in NXT are confirmed for 2K19, with Black upgraded from DLC to the main roster. Fans of both Daniel Bryan are going to be very happy as 2K is bringing back Showcase Mode for WWE 2K19, which follows the career of the superstar. Among the new features is the Million Dollar Challenge, which takes place within the new Challenge Mode. Cover star AJ Styles headlines the roster, while those who pre-order will get bonus characters Ronda Rousey and Rey Mysterio.

WWE 2K19 not coming to Nintendo Switch

2K Games has officially confirmed that WWE 2K19 will not be releasing on Nintendo Switch.

After a pretty dreadful launch for the 2018 edition of the game on Nintendo’s console, which was affected by a whole host of technical issues across the board, it appears that 2K has decided to avoid any further bad press by skipping the system entirely for its next release.  The publisher has mentioned its intention to make “the best possible experience” for fans and that it will continue to assess the plausibility of the series on Switch in the future: “WWE 2K19 will not be available on Nintendo Switch. 2K is focused on making the best possible experience for WWE 2K fans and will continue evaluating all opportunities to deliver the franchise across additional platforms.”
